Liz’s Senior Portraits in Forest Park
Liz brought just the right amount of sass to her Senior Portraits in Forest Park in St. Louis!
We started at her home in Webster Groves, where one of our talented artists, Hayden, styled Liz’s hair and makeup for her Senior Portraits in Forest Park. One of Liz’s furry friends popped in for a visit while she was getting styled!
Once Liz was styled and had her outfits picked out, we headed outside to the backyard, where Liz’s dad had made this beautiful wooden fence. We got some cute smiles and giggles as Liz told us about her college plans.
Mom and Dad’s house will always be a special place for seniors who are about to fly the coupe, so we made sure to get some photos on the front porch as well. This oversized chunky sweater was absolutely perfect for this cozy series of portraits.
We hopped in the car to capture some of Liz’s Senior Portraits in Forest Park, and our first stop was this windy bridge in Pagoda Circle. It was a beautiful sunny day in St. Louis and Liz’s beautiful auburn hair was so pretty blowing in the breeze.
A quick change into some wedges and a pretty lace duster, and we were off to capture a completely different look!
On sunny days in St. Louis, we can always add some light from a Beauty Dish in front to capture those EPIC Superwoman shots without you having to stare directly into the sun while trying not to squint! Shots like this are easy and fun when you bring the right tools!
Next we strolled over to the Muny, where Liz strapped on her pointe shoes and effortlessly performed some beautiful ballet moves for the camera. Even the outtakes were insanely graceful! Did you know that the Muny is the nation’s largest outdoor musical theatre venue?!
Here is another of Liz’s gorgeous Ballet shots at the Muny. In the backgrouond is the Nathan Frank Bandstand. The original was built around the time Forest Park first opened in 1876, but was destroyed by a storm and fire in 1911. It was rebuilt in 1924 with funds from a donation from Nathan Frank, a St. Louis lawyer, hence the name of the bandstand.
Just hanging around in her pointe shoes in that gorgeous afternoon sunlight. . .
This was such a great look for senior pictures – cuffed skinny jeans and a form-fitting crop top with a loose flowy lace duster over the top. Outfits like this show off Liz’s petite, athletic figure without being too form-fitting or revealing. Liz made every single move look completely effortless. It was absolutely amazing to watch!
